The Newhall Mansion wedding of Chelsea Parker and Nicholas Rodriguez was a glamorous and memorable affair. The rainy weather and dramatic clouds that hung over their guests before the ceremony were in stark contrast to the sweet and gentle love between Chelsea and Nicholas that they had gathered to celebrate.
Chelsea, a program manager, and Nicholas, a corporate trainer, met as young teenagers when they were freshmen in high school. It wasn’t until over four years later that the two turned their friendship into romance.
Their relationship started as a summer love following their graduation from high school, but it wasn’t long before the pair realized that their connection was a lasting one.
Nicholas asked Chelsea for her hand in marriage while the couple was vacationing in Philadelphia.
“He took me to the outside of the Museum of Art next to the famous ‘Amor’ statue,” Chelsea recalls. “We were both dressed up because we had plans for dinner, and I had no idea he was going to propose.”
After Chelsea joyfully accepted Nicholas’ proposal, they celebrated with dinner at a famous Philadelphia steak house.
Chelsea fell in love when she entered the gates to the Newhall Mansion Venue, it was perfect!
Their wedding took place at the Newhall Mansion, a gorgeous venue in Piru, California that mixes vintage elegance with personalized intimacy.
On the day of the wedding, rain was falling and Chelsea’s emotions were running high. Rain was not something that she had wanted on her wedding day.
Like something out of a fairytale, as soon as Chelsea began walking out to meet her soon-to-be husband, the rain stopped.
It was an honor to be able to capture the love shared between Chelsea and Nicholas and their family and friends on their wedding day. For more information about my photography services, contact me.
